|I'm looking for a trainer for the winter so i dont get (as) fat. Looking to spend less than $175-200. I really know next to nothing about them. suggestions? Ones to avoid. I dont need any of these PC hookups. Just a solid unit, Well built.
Hows Performance brand?

|Cycleops Fluid 2 can be had for between $220 -$250. Very pleased so far, but I have not tried anything else. Don't pay more than $250.|

|I have the Kurt Kinetic Road Machine. Highly recommended, as far as a trainer goes. Check Google. I found mine on sale. Including shipping: $300. This thing will outlast my bike. It's very well constructed and I do not see how it could leak. Check the reviews out on this site.
The 1UPUsa goes for about the same price and I have seen a lot of good reviews on this one.
I know these are out of your price range, but wanted to tip you off on the Kurt.
Check out the many reviews on this site and MTBR.com
