43 degrees. Winds 10-20 miles an hour. Day off, chores done at home. Sounds like a good day for a nice long ride! Itook the bike over to the traditional area start for club rides, Mechanicsburg HS. (I didn't start from home or this would have been more like 90 miles...) Here are some BUFFALO (yes kids, this is PA, not the wild west!)

Riding out the valley:

Wagner's Gap looms:

We're going up!

2.1 miles later, looking back down Cumberland Valley:

Going down the other side into Perry county, where the men are men and so are the women =)

Heading down to Doublin GapI'll cut diagonally up the mountain on the left:

At the bottom of the other side, Colonol Denning State Park. I did this climb as a teenager but I did much better 28 or so years later!

Heading back, down into Cumberland county. The leaves are not as nice this year-too bad. Usually they are spectacular about now.

Well MB1, looks like I've got another route for next year's PA RBR ride!

Here's is what your text needed to look like:

You have to have it exactly like this or you get nothing. The spaces, <, >, and quotes are all important.

You'll get the hang of it.
i Eventually!!!

I see what I did.KG 361

Missed the >" at the end. Guess I'll have to do another illustrated ride and see if it works =)

Your ride didn't happen to go over any of these roads did it?

The description sounds familiar and I think I recognize some of the pictures. Strangely, I remember thinking that it was an area where the "men were men, and sheep ran scared!"
Nope. Further east and a little south.KG 361
