I agree, incredible article. How could he ever go back to no drugs?? The apparent feelings of euphoria, strength, stamina, endurance etc...must be very tempting.

...and I very much doubt that we will ever get such insight and honesty from a pro unless he/she is busted and goes for the "big book deal" for cash and an at attempt at redemption! I agree with some of the earlier comments about the dubious nature of "juicing" (or "charging" as the Paul Kimmage book calls it) during even an amateur event but the overall glimpse into doping in the context of an endurance sport was amazing. Just my two cents...

That's a typical build for a big euro-cyclist. Especially one that focuses on stage races or climbing.
