I'm a recreational rider who rides either to commute a short distance to class, or bi-weekly long(er) rides.I am getting my first pair of clipless pedals, but i still want to be able to use regular shoes too. I've narrowed it down to two setups that cost about the same ---->

1. MTB SPD pedals, cheap ones, like 20-40 dollar range. (i.e.nashbars, cheap ritcheys, performance etc.)-WITH a sneaker adapter (6$ on nashbar) so i can still use tennis shoes.

2. SPD one side/Cage on other. THis way i can still use Tennis shoes as well. 30-40 dollar range (wellgos)

Waddaya think?
