For any of you out there who have ordered the new Madone 5.9 in the 54 cm version. The latest news direct from trek is that they will not begin building them until mid to late November. Given this they are looking at ship dates of late December and thats if you were one of the first orders in the country to go out.

Sorry for the bad news...I know I was looking forward to getting mine in the beginning of November. Oh well!

Perhaps you should take it as a sign. Buy something a little less mass produced that is better quality. For example, Serotta, Guru, Seven... Now I know LA doesn't ride one of these, but, he doesn't ride the "belly button" model that everyone else has, either. As a former Trek carbon rider, I swear you can do much better. (Mine cracked...POS)
Why bother then? The whole riding season is ruined!Poseur
