| Is it just me, or does this look painful? | Marketing Dept Oct 21, 2003 8:54 AM | | While performing my daily troll through ebay this morning, I found this Merckx. Regardless of all of the other add claims, I thought this seat position looked a bit uncomfortable for all of those centuries the seller claims to have under his belt. |

| brrring-ding | off roadie Oct 21, 2003 1:48 PM | | The thing on the stem is a normal old lever operated bell for alleting peds to your presence on the MUT s that they whirl around skitishly, forcing them directly into your path. That's probably how the fork got bent. |

| re: Is it just me, or does this look painful? | mapei boy Oct 21, 2003 11:36 AM | | I actually know a couple of people who prefer their saddle pointing upwards. I can't quite understand their explanations why, though. |
| I do. | swvegg Oct 21, 2003 12:55 PM | | Not to that extreme though, by a long shot. I just have the nose of my Flite saddle slighty pointed up. I'm talking millimeters. If you put a level on mine the bubble just barely sticks out side of the center lines.
It goes along with the swooping shape of the saddle, and is very comfortable for me. |
