Another useless survey: States you've ridden in this yearPaulCL

My wife and I were discussing our vacations for this year and she mentioned that I've ridden all over the place..??

The states I've ridden in this year

Kentucky (home)
Ohio (across the river)
Indiana (also just across the mighty Ohio)
Colorado (what mountains!)
Wyoming (what winds!)
Pennsylvania (in Erie and in the SW corner..hills!!!)
Virginia (beautiful !!!! I want to go back)
inebriation (OK, not a place...but what a state!)
hungover....I started the ride a little buzzed and ended up hungover

I'm sure my 2003 list is short compared to others. I almost went to North Carolina, but the trip was cancelled. Hopefully next season, some buddies and I are going to ride the Natchez Trace so 2004 will include TN,GA, and MS.

Just states?mohair_chair

California is the only state I've ridden in this year. But I also got to ride in France, in the Departements of Isère, Savoie, Haute-Savoie, and Drôme.
You're right. States PLUS Countries (nm)PaulCL

Last year I traveled much more with my bike -- riding in NC, SC, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Wisconsin. A hiking trip in Ireland replaced my usual out-of-state bike tour this year.

My home base is NC. The Mt. Mitchell century took me to SC. I ride a couple of rails to trails in VA, the New River Trail and the Virginia Creeper. I use a mtb, but a cross bike would work as well.

Next year I hope to ride to Roan Mt. in TN, and maybe venture to GA as well.
