| Night riders and commuters: Tireflies on sale at Target ($7) | shawndoggy Oct 20, 2003 12:58 PM | | These are for the bicycle version which flash a lot more than the car version I was running previously. Come with an extra set of batteries too. |
| Thanks for the tip. | TWD Oct 20, 2003 3:04 PM | | I've never seen these things before (can you tell I don't get out much).
Seems like a good idea. A little bit of extra movement is enough to catch the eye.
Two questions. 1.) Are they light? (no pun intended, I mean weight wise) 2.) Are they waterproof? |

2. Waterproof? Dunno, I live in Nevada. We don't need to ride when it rains! |
| So they have them for bikes now? | Ken of Fresno Oct 20, 2003 5:48 PM | | The ones I had were for cars and didn't really flash much on the bike. I just might pick up a pair of the bike ones to see how they do. Anything to make us more visible out there is good. They look kinda cool too. |

| Must be what I saw | Al1943 Oct 20, 2003 7:10 PM | | walking down my street, two people and a big black dog. They each had two flashing red lights on each side, including on the dog, definitely kool looking. |
