|I've read some very good things about the KG 381 and was wondering if it's worth twice the price of the KG 361. I currently ride a Lemond Zurich and am used to the long top tube/laid back seat tube angle. I think the Look might be a nice intro to carbon, if I don't go with a Trek.

|The forks will be different-
Also, the tubes are different- I don't know if the 61 series has the unusual shapes that the 81 series has. I have a 381 and the 361s look more round. Bottom line, I love the ride of the Look- and I'm guessing if you compare it to a Trek, you'll find more of a difference than you might expect.
The 381 is built in 1 cm increments while the 361 in not- and I think the 461 will be compact in the smaller sizes.
I'm guessing the differences are akin to comparing OCLV 120 with 110.
I'd guess you'd receive more bang for the buck with the 361... Look seems to have clamped down of the great deals from the days of yore.
I don't think you can go wrong with a Look.

|The 381 has shaped tubes, integrated headset, and all-cf fork. The 361 uses round tubes, aheadset, and alloy steerer. The lugs and rear triangle are the same. I love my 361. I can't imagine that the 381 is worth the extra $$ IMHO. BTW-the 381 is probably 100gm lighter.|

|But then again, I also got my 381i with Ksyriums and full DuraAce new for $2000. Seriously. I nearly peed in my pants.

|That's a great deal. I'd have peed my pants, too. I got my 361 frame/fork for $500 and sold my old 271 for $400, so I couldn't pass on that one......|| |
