|Diadora Shoes + Shimano Pedals = Unhappiness||Saddle_Sore|

|After being assured that the Diadora Alu shoe would accept a Shimano SPD-SL pedal (specifically the PD-R600 pedal cleat SM-SH11) I purchased the shoes. Got them home and then started to try and fit the cleats to the shoes.
After about 45 minutes of frustrating fiddling with a 4mm Allen key I realised that they were not going to fit. The hexagonal nuts that are supposed to secure the cleat onto the shoe were simply not long enough.
Consequently I've now got to go and exchange them for some Shimano SH-R150 shoes. Bloody frustrating it all is too.
All I would say is don't believe a word of this cross-compatibility crap that's on the box of Diadora shoes, it ain't worth the cardboard it is written on!

|I discovered with My Diadoras that (by screwing on the cleats with the shoe in the upright position) the supplied bolts were plenty long enough. Anything longer could be felt through the insole.|
