Has anyone taken these classes? if so was it worth your time? Did you buy any of the tools? etc...

I took one last fall. I enjoyed it and learned plenty. I havn't practiced what I learned enough. The class I took was small, (I think 6 of us) so much of the instruction was tailored from feedback from our small group. I was the only "roadie" of the six, so the full suspension fork section of the class was a waste, but, never the less informative and well run.

Tool purchase was not a requirement of the class. The LBS that I took it from offered 20% off anything repair related to all class particpants. I thought that was a good offer so I spent in excess of $250.00 on tools, lubes, parts, etc.

Scot,
Thanks for your response! I will be taking the class with just a couple of roadies...all they require is three for a private class. so I expect it will be very hands on! Thanks again!
