PARK CITY TO HOST U.S. CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN AUGUST
For the first time ever, USA Cycling's National Championships for both Masters Men (30-70+), Women (30-60+) and Juniors will be held in the same place. Park City, Utah. In mid-August, 2004, Park City will host the finest racers from around the country competing in road races and criteriums. Road racers will depart from Deer Valley, the event site, on a circuit taking them from this famous mountain ski resort out through rural areas of Summit and Wasatch Counties and then back to the resort for an exciting finish. The criteriums (circuit races lapping around a defined course) will take place on lower Deer Valley Drive. Hundreds of competitors are expected in what is expected to be one of the premier U.S. cycling events of the 2004 racing season.
