Bianchi's new white carbon Luna bike debuted at Interbike and I am now considering what to sell to get one. I don't know if it'll look as good in bright lighting, but it is just an awesome concept. I just love it when manufacturers come up with something completely the opposite of the current trends. (BTW- I like white chocolate better too - may be a pattern)

Is that really white or is painted? How could they even make carbon fiber white? Do they blend it in like Calfee does? Wouldn't you still see the black? Doesn't make sense to me. Also- looks like a white carbon, or whatever, seat post. Next they'll make white CF cranks!
I'd say it is probably -------Synchronicity

a different fiber as the last visible layer. Like Kestrel uses "spectra", which is white. Basically it could be a type of polyethylene. PE is actually quite strong, but the surface has to be prepared properly with a primer for adhesives to stick to it.

It does have a white CF crank set. I too am interested, I can't find anything about it on the web site.

Lots of components (seats, bars, stems and seatposts mainly)were white carbon. As for the Bianchi, it was beautiful. And at the rish of sounding sexist I thought the Luna looked like a chicks bike, if there is such a thing. My favorite Bianchi was the Jan Ullrich limited edition, celeste with white panels, just gorgeous! A little ironic though considering the current situation!

Looks to me as though anyone riding that set up would have to be a damn odd shape! (Either that or they are a eunuch)

I'm not sure how they did it, but this bike looks even better live! It is a metallic, candy apple style silver/white and the color gives it a 3 dimensional depth that is awesome. Bianchi is definitely picking up the pace!
I want one. nmDougSloan
