I'm going out there Dec 8-11 for training at the Beckman-Coulter plant. I'd like to get a ride or 2 in but have no idea where to ride and I'm not sure if I can take my bike. Any place to rent near there and can I find rides? Thanks for any info.

You've got lots of choices from Brea. You can take Carbon Canyon into Chino Hills and get in some hills, or you can take Kramer down to the Santa Ana River Trail and head down to the beach (very flat route), or you can take Brea Canyon north to Diamond Bar Blvd to Grand. From there, you can go west to Glendora and climb up Glendora Mountain Road, or you can go east, which will take you back into Chino Hills for some more hill climbing. Much fun to be had!
...or take the Santa Ana River trail the opposite direction...The Walrus

...up into Yorba Linda, past the very pleasant regional park, and continue east through the canyon to the golf course at Green River, then backtrack.

Don't miss the loop through Santiago Canyon. Go from Chapman Ave. in Orange to El Toro Road in El Toro and back.
