Campy Shimano mix works great!!!sparklenuts

I just installed Campy Record shift levers (10 sp) with my 9 speed Shimano Ultegra setup. I used the method of rotating the tab on the mounting washer. I was amazed at how well the setup works. There is NO compromise of performance. I like the Campy shifers because the fit my hands well and the fact that I can dump the whole range of gears at one time. The solid brake levers are also nice. The difference in performance is personal taste. The Campy shifters are like a euro sports car - very mechanical and positive with a nice kerchumk. The Shimano was like a high performance Acura - Smooth and very percision feeling. After my experiment, I would not say that one is better than the other. The Campy is better for me, but not better. I just wanted to chip in my 2c.
