Looks like Jan will also have a full cf bike next season. I believe that Giant may also be producing a lighter version of their composite team frame. I guess that Jan will have a designated climbing bike as well. I'm glad that Giant has found another Div. I team to sponsor. I think that doing so over the past several years has really helped its R&D! Everyone I know that owns a Giant Composite Frameset seems to love it.

|The Giant/Telekom/Jan combination may be a winner next year. They will have a strong team that will compete very well against Lance/US Postal.
From a commercial standpoint, if Giant can win a TDF, it will elevate the Brand significantly. Giant makes great bikes, but they are missing something. A TDF win could give them that something.
Everyone that rides a Giant Composite bike that I have met, loves them. But they still are not considered to be the best. It is a shame, because they do really build a top notch bike.

|I agree with everything you wrote! I too think that the T-Mobile/Jan combo will be very competitive with US Postal. I think that the '04 Tour may be the one I'll have to actually go to France and see!
It is a shame that Giant Composite frames are not considered to be the best, or among the best. They really do have a great ride and handle very well. The compact sizing may also be a drawback to some caught between sizes.

|The article states that the "rumor was confirmed monday at Interbike" which is really funny because I knew they switched about 10 days ago. If you go to Team Telekom's website (I don't know when they will switch the name to Team T-Mobile for that) you can actually already buy the 2004 jersey which has the Giant logo on it. So it's not like they were trying to hide that secret very well.
