|After riding a short distance, 5 miles or so, I start to develop a numbness and pain on the outside of my right foot. The arch, toes, heal all feel fine also left foot feels great. I'm using Pearl Azumi Vagabond Mountain shoes. Cleat alignment? I've tried moving it slightly forward and back doesn't seem to help. These are new shoes this year. Have only used them a few times, cause it hurts. My old Cannondale mountain shoes feel fine. I tried to place the cleat on the pearls like them. Would an aftermarket foot bed help? Any ideas?|

|I suggest you try a good footbed. If you have the money, get one made for you at your local ski/bike shop. It will make a world of difference in comfort.
Good ski shops make them all the time, just tell them it is for your biking shoes. If you can find a ski/bike shop, this is the best. They exist in areas where there is real winter.
