People are all the time making references to Robin William's outlandish and exotic army of lustable bikes. So where did the public learn about all this? Was there a story on the collection a few years ago in some cycling rag? Do we have any photos or inventory of what he's got, besides, you know, "one of everything"?

I wonder if Seinfeld also has a collection of great fame and renown.

I know he's got (or had) a titanium merlin cruiser style bike with that sweepy, curvy top tube. He rode it onto the David Letterman show and it had a pair of yellow judy SL forks on it (which I thought was a bit much). BEsides from what I've heard he's mainly seen on the trails, not the road. But then he is into the tdf.

b Personally, I think the sheer oppulence is sickening. Half a dozen bikes is plenty, unless they're restored classic bikes in some sort of collection, and then it is okay to have as many as you like, as you are maintaining the history.
i Like it's okay for him to own 50 bikes or whatever just because he's "rich & famous", and I get hammered for owning one nice one! Bah.

Robin Williams actually does ride. And I hear Robin Williams is actually an OK rider. Maybe those days in the USPS team car helped.

Seinfeld is a joke. But in addition to bikes, he collects Porsche 911s as well. He probably is ignorant in both cycling and driving.
Unlike Seinfeld, Robin is funny....nmbicyclerepairman

Yeah, I think it's ok for him to own 50 bikes or whatever because he's rich--I don't think famous has much of anything to do with it.

Rich folks often buy lots of expensive toys. As conspicuous consumption among the hollywood wealthy goes, a big (custom) garage full of bicycles is seriously small time decadence.

Personally, I have no desire to own scores of road bikes, but I've seen far tackier things on lifestyles of the rich and famous than this.
