|I currently ride with a Giro Pnumo, but frankly in order to get it to fit my weird long narrow head I have to add all kinds of extra pads. I've had it for 3 years & a couple of accidents so I thought I'd look to replace it.
Unfortunatly, I can't find a LBS with a wide enough assortment of helmets to try on different brands, and I hate to go thru the try & return route.....So.....
Is anyone else afflicted with a similar weird shaped head & if so what helmet have you found that fits?

|Their fit system is super adjustable, and it's very easy to adjust, too. I can't wear Giro helmets either, and bought 3-4 different brands and models before I found the Limar. I have an F105 model and it fits great.
The only other helmet that even came close to fitting properly was a Specialized King Cobra, and it wasn't great. It was too narrow on my head, so it might work for you. I don't think they make the model anymore, but one of their newer models might work.
I'll give you a great deal on my King Cobra. Email me if you are interested and I'll give you the details.

|I think everybody's head is long and narrow in comparison to Giro helmets.
I think they are shaped way too round. I can't wear them either, and I have this same conversation with a few other folks. After owning too many lousy fitting Giro helmets to list, I finally switched.
I have a Bell helmet now (can't remember which model it is), but it fits much better in terms of width. I no longer feel like my helmet fits like a salad bowl.
You might want to try and find a Bell helmet to try on.

|Bell Ghisallo worked for me - Giros are very round, Bell fits my head perfectly. If you can splurge, the high-end is well worth it - lots of vents worked great in the high humidity and heat, the gross adjustment is with a dial, so it works well with a cap in the cold. It seems like each manufacturer makes a style that works for one type of head, so you just have to go through them until you find the comapny that works for you. Good luck.|

|I wore a Bell some years ago & it fit better, so that's an idea.
I like the looks of the Limar's & I have a buddy with one, I'll check his out.
