|I am sick of missing all the tours, at least we get the TDF but no other cycling events are covered. The programming on Canadian OLN is complete crap, how can they even call it the same name.
I currently have cable but is the American OLN available on satellite?

|Yes, American OLN is available on Directv. The problem for you is that your government won't allow you to watch it.
In Canada you can physically get Directv, but it is illegal to have there. It is considered a "grey-market" broadcast and you are forced to subscibe to either cable or Bell Express View. You should do a search on google for the laws and the events that lead up to the legal battle in Canada over this. It was quite interesting, and many involved feel that Canadian Civil Libertys were trampled for the good of Corporation (Bell Express View.)

|If you know someone in the US who would let you be billed to their address, you can have the bill charged automatically to your credit card. Then have them ship the dish and box to that address and do a self install. I did a self install, was very easy. I put the dish on a vent pipe from the washing machine. If you already have a dish you can use it and might not even need to realign it.|

|www.freewaysupport.com can get you set up.
Things must have changed over the past several years. I remember Canadian OLN having good cycling coverage, especially mtb, when I lived up there.
Be warned that US OLN is dominated by fishing shows.
