I am looking for a vest with rear pockets with out a zipper and would prefer windproof front. Anybody know of such a beast??
Thanks
woolywarm. No windproofing though. nm.Steve_0

If you can't find one, it's easier to put pockets on a windproof one than it is to windproof a woolywarm (great clothes, by the way). I have an old sewing machine that used to be my grandmother's that I can run a little bit, but it only takes half an hour or so by hand.
I cut the pockets off an old old jersey that was too small, folded the edges under so there wouldn't be a raw edge and stitched them to the back of a vest. Took about 10 minutes.

I have a MEC vest that is windproof in the front and mesh back. It's got 2 jersey pockets in the back. I couldn't find the men's version on the website but they do have one. Just call them and the'll hook you up.

If you can track down a team winter vest it should have rear pockets. I have a Navigators vest and it has 3 rear pockets.
