Carbon seatpost keeps slipping, please help.toronto-rider

I have had my new bike (Giant Tcr Comp Once) for a week but the flipping carbon seatpost (Selcof) keeps slipping. On top of that there is a creek every time I move around on the saddle from the post slipping.

I have sanded the post, loosened the seatpost collar, tightened it, turned the collar around to the front, nothing works. I want to start enjoying the bike.
Any suggestions

Thanks

First, did you grease it? Because you don't need to.

Second, are you sure it's the right size post. And sometimes carbon posts are not the size they say they are consistent thru the post. Take some calipers and measure it at the point that you clamp it.

You may need to get a different post.

spritz, spritz, no more slipz.

Keeps my Alien in place.
If the seatpost isn't undersized, the seat tube might beMR_GRUMPY

oversized. Take it back to where you bought it, and have them look at it. If you just bought a frameset, use an inside michrometer and measure the seat tube.
If all else fails, you may have to use a very thin shim.
use goo gone to take off any greese inside the seat tubekneebreaker
