New Colnago Frame - which fork to use?(2 posts)

New Colnago Frame - which fork to use?JBF

I just got a great deal on a Colnago Asso which came with a beautiful, but heavy, colnago steel fork. I am torn between using my old Time Equip Featherlite (all carbon) fork or the Colnago Precisa steel fork which came with the frame.

The dimensional specs are the same, the Time weighs 300+/- grams less and is plenty stiff. Still, I hesitate to put this fork on my new Italian bike. Am I nuts?

What do you think ...

The colnago steel fork was too heavy and stiff for my taste on my Master Light..A straight blade Look rides and looks good.
