|   Did my first century today.... | asphalt assault

It went well, other than my friends GF clipping one of the other guys rear wheels coming out of a turn and taking a good spill at 70 miles. She shook it off and completed though. After the ride she seemed happy that she was going to have a mongo bruise on her thigh to show for it. I had a minor mechanical but it was a quick fixie.
There were 5 in our group, and it was the first century for 4 of us. This ride was as flat as a pancake so it was a good ride for our first century. Next Sunday we might be doing one that's somewhat hilly...I'm ready!
So here I sit, enjoying a cold glass of brew and basking in the endorphin afterglow:) |
