pedals were from another bike that was involved in a car accident (some of you might remember that i got T-boned by a car)

ride quality is very good. insert general "c/f absorbing the road shock" comments here. but i went from an aluminum bike to cf, so i might be biased :D |

Good for you for not being a slave to fashion. You are going to get hammered here for not having matching cages and tires. |

Frame came from Ireland (totalcycling) and was stuck at Kenndy airport for a while due to 9/11. But i've got a few K miles on it, and it has hold up great for two years. it's just that i just bought a digicam and finally got around to post the pics.
i've test ridden Trek cf bikes and didn't really like the feel of it, even though i was happy with the geometry.
the 281 handles very nicely. not jerky but responses to my inputs quite well.
regarding no matching tire/cage/whatever.... you give me a job and i'll be able to afford matching everything :D |
