[OT] Apple Orchards in the Rochester, NY / Fingerlakes area? (4 posts)
| [OT] Apple Orchards in the Rochester, NY / Fingerlakes area? | globalhelipimp Sep 20, 2003 9:10 PM | | My apologies for the very off-topic cycling post, but my
girlfriend is in town and I told her we'd do something fun
tomorrow. I was thinking about taking her apple picking,
but don't really know of any orchards in the Rochester and
Finger Lakes areas (just transferred to RIT).
Any reccomendations out there?
I found this .. http://www.nyapplecountry.com/pick.php
What county would be the prettiest?
Thanks,
Dave |

Can't remember the name, but there is a big orchard close to Ridge Road that does apples, cider and the entire fall experience. Was a regular fall thing for me when I lived there. I know there are signs, but failing that you could probably get the info from a local store or gas station. As I recall, it was not long after you climb out of the Irondequoit Bay dip. |
