I recently moved my seat back about 1 to 1.5cm and now I feel a little stretched out. I was thinking about buying a new stem, but then I was reading about the Salsa Poco and how this could be a way to shorten my reach without buying a new stem. The only reason the idea seems nicer then a stem is because I don't like the big drop on my current bars. My only concern is that I am 6'2" and most people who seem to like these bars are very short. I don't think I have very large hands though because I have trouble getting a good grip on my brake levers from the drop position. Any opinions or insight would be appreciated.

Thanks

The Poco will shorten your stretch about 1 cm in the drops, tops will remain the same and I'm not sure about the hoods. I'll look it over and get back. A more conventional solution would be to shorten the stem and use the Salsa Short & Shallow bar, which I also have and prefer. It will give you less drop without changing the reach in the drops.

Neither bar, or any other, will help you reach the brake levers from the drops.

Actually, I found the Poco did get me closer to the brake levers from the drops. Not a ton, but enough to make the reach do-able for me.
