| Large Bike Frames | doclusk Sep 20, 2003 12:47 PM | | One of the riders in our club is looking for a new bike. He is tall, approx six feet seven tall, so he needs a 65-68 size, at least that's what he is currently riding. Any suggestions appreciated as to who would make frames to fit a rider this size. |

I am 6'6" and have a custom Seven Axiom. I could not be happier, but your friend needs to be prepared for a $4000 investment. |
| used bikes from the 80's | Continental Sep 22, 2003 4:58 AM | | 65 cm to 69 cm bikes were much more common in the 80's. I have a 69 cm Raleigh from the 80's, re-spaced and updated with modern drive train. I also have a 26" (66 cm) Schwinn from the 70's. Both fit well and ride great. The steel frames never wear out. If you're patient and watch Ebay you'll be able to find a bike that fits for a few hundred and have a unique, cool retro ride. |
