Seeing all of these podium girls and guys makes me wonder.

Some of them just don't look that great to me, so I realized that some like athletic, some curvy and some just plain ugly.

What do you like?

For me, it's the tall French Tour De France podium girls. I think the Vuelta girls are too ethnic and slightly fatter.

But hey, I like Elizabeth Hurley look versus the Catherine Zeta Jones-Douglas look, so I guess that's my direction.

My guess is Catherine will get fat with time, whereas the tall, French look won't.
The whole idea is pretty stupid.MR_GRUMPY

I can see where it started....The local "beauty queen" gave out the prize at the local race. From there, it just got bigger and bigger, untill they had to start bringing in models like they have a car shows.
They should use a short fat guy, with a cigar, to present the trophy.
I got a trophy from Ed Asner once. Does that count?cory

Speaking of short, fat guys... I won the heavyweight division of a 10K race one time. It was a benefit for the Equal Rights Amendment, and Linda Lavin and Ed Asner presented the trophies. Lavin did the women, hugging and kissing each one. I was the first guy up with Asner, so I kissed him on the cheek. Actually I would have preferred Pamela Anderson...

I like my women curvy. I have never been one for the thinner women, perhaps even buxom. As the men in Mexico say:

"Bones are for the dog...meat is for the man."

I like a girl who has a butt. As I said in another thread, I don't go for the twig-armed, no calf, hardbody or bony look. And if my woman has a little belly, well that's even better.

would lead me to conclude that you are not alone. I'm talking hard core racers with big healthy women.

Redheads!

Ooooh, I love redheads. I like all kinds of girls, but redheads with porcelain skin...ooooooh they relly make crazy. I think its the fiery temper brought on by that Celtic blood.

Come on now, don't be a hata (gawd, I've always wanted to say that!).

Seriously, start a poll about guys! Its all in good fun.

Please don't even waste your time. I think it only encourages them. Hell, I'm diligently wasting your time for you in the thread further down. Trying to teach these clowns anything is about as rewarding as pissing up a rope. Remember the old, old saying: "arguing on the internet is like playing in the Special Olympics... even if you win, you're still retarded".

I've had it, going home now...

Your hipocrisy is showing!

If you're going to get all self-righteous about being offensive to women, try not to reference a mean-spirited and infantile joke at the expense of the mentally handicapped while doing it.

I thought the MTB racer in the blue skirt below was pretty hot.

Did somebody hurt you in the past? ;-)

so yeah, I'll admit I'm a tad irritated at the male gender as a whole right now.

Now I'm all for shameless objectification of the opposite sex. And I *really* hate the PC-to-be-PC sanctimonious holier-than-thou BS attitudes some folks get off on. But really, wasn't that "she's a man" comment in the thread below just a little over the top?

OK, I'll agree to the "she's a man" comment. She was obviously not a man, though I, personally, was not attracted to her.
Wasn't me! :-)CHRoadie

I said her belly button looked funky, but I was referring to the sticker.

Sorry about your SO ordeal--I know first hand how bad that can be. But not all of us are evil (just dumb).

The most difficult thing about watching that movie is that my cousin is one of the two Asian twin (the one who did most of the talking).

Trying hard not to look at your cousin the wrong way, in fact not look at her at all. Difficult in that type of genre.

Now Kristin will ask me where Cain got his wife.

Lonefrontranger, Sorry to hear it. It's a tough time for you. You sound like a woman who really tries to have her life together. But not all us males are mindless twits, we just have to really fight the genetic makeup! Heal quickly.

Beauty goes away with age, its a fact of nature. Intelligence and honesty are there forever. The eyes are the window to the soul and they will glow with the attributes listed above. Smiles just make you feel great. Grow to appreciate the person behind the looks and you will find it more fulfilling.
Thank youFatnslow

I know after some of the drivel I've posted, it may ring hollow, but intelligence and attitude are my biggest turn-ons.

You are correct in that beauty fades with age (though, my wife seems to get better-looking every day). I like a girl who I can talk to without constantly having to explain myself.

I think Vuleta girls are way hotter than TDF girls, I do prefer catherine zeta jones look which those spanish girls have. But just like tdf, giro vuleta there some ugly ones.
