|Saw him on the 5900 at T Mobile in SF. I heard that the 5900 was going to DC'd in favor of the Madone but Trek's website shows the 5900 available for '04.|

|The 5900 is lighter than the Madone and will still be used in races where climbing is an issue. The '04 is lighter than '03 by several ounzes.
The Madone is more aero, and in flat races will be the bike to ride.

|I'm sorry, but that bike needs to be outdoors, in the sunshine, up on a podium, being presented by folks wearing team kit, with a couple of healthy-looking podium girls on either side. It just looks so WRONG it that setting!
And maybe it should have a little grass hanging off the rear der.
