it was one of Lance's featured equipment in the latest Mens's journal. Dunno about that mag's cred though.
Hmmm, what happens to the Pneumo then?cydswipe

I wonder if the Pneumo's days are numbered. I doubt Giro would stop making them suddenly, with the Atmos being somewhat newer technology with the carbon fiber. Still, the $160 was the Pneumos sticker price range. Can Giro hope to sell 2 high dollar cycling helmets?

Giro previously said that they would keep the Pneumo. The atmos was not supposed to be a replacement, but an even more advanced (expensive)helmet. I was definately expecting the price to be closer to $200. If youve noticed, the price of the Pneumo has been dropping in most cases.

Got a chance to check the Atmos out, one of LA's and a pre- production the rep had a few days later. Nice helmet with big vents and carbon reinforcments. It is noticably lighter and more open but I am not sure ventilation will be drastically better--being from Texas though I want all I can get
