I am no expert, but with the exception of the back on the seat of my bike, it looks like a saddle to me. Some people are telling me that I don't have a saddle on my bike. I know my bike though. It looks like a saddle. Maybe a lot wider than most of you on your road bikes, but it has a similar shape. The seat back is a seperate piece. I am going out for a ride. I hope everyone has a nice day on their bike, and that they start spreading some positive energy out of here. I am not here to have my ego stroked. When you weigh as much as I do, you don't have much of an ego. It is with enthusiasm and energy that I post my progress.

If it is where you park your butt, i woulds have to say it is a saddle. "Function before form" Hope you had fun on your ride. Did the road ride yesterday, going to do a 10 miles MTB today. Take Care
Regardless of what you call it, you sit on it !TNRyder

And you have a cool bike too. I would get one to play around with, but I don't think that my wife would be too understanding of me adding another steed to the stable right now. Enjoy the RIDE :)

If a bicycle seat is called a saddle and never a seat then why is a seatpost called a seatpost and not a saddlepost???

I'v been pondering this one for years.
