Take a look at the link in my post below. Under shorts/bibs, Voler isn't an option. They name the top US companies in most of the sections and leave lots of others out.

Kristin,

You are absolutely correct. In their efforts to become all things to all people, Bicycling has become nothing to anyone. Their editorial direction has become so vague and disoriented that the magazine is nearly meaningless.
Geez. Hotmail sucks. Here's a link that works.Kristin

I got a subscription a year ago to help out a niece in a fund raising drive.

It wasn't until the third or fourth issue that I realized Style Man might taking himself somewhat serious. Up to that point I thought the guy was hilarious in the way he got us up tight roadie types to look at how silly we have become.

He is joking, right? Please tell me he is!

As for the rest of the magazine, I glance through it. Look at a couple of stories if they sound interesting. Then, throw it away.

I put no weight in anything said. Their business is selling magazines and advertising space, not informing the public. It seems they have a formula and every issue it's the same pile of...

I did pick up a cycling news at a new stand but put it back when I saw the price ~GULP

I do like cycling new's website.

They are doing this to help sell ad space or sell the info. Being that most of volers stuff is for teams and they aren't really sold in shops (without some other name added) they don't car what you think of them.

As far as how the mag goes I think it is still the best mag that isn't mainly racing. I also get procyclist and cycle sport every month and if you are intrested in racing then you need at least one of them (or velonews). However, the main stories in bicyling the past few month have been better then they have been in years. I did like the old style man better he is to tone down and short now.
