Please don't laugh...what is conventional wisdom on leg warmers, over or under the shorts? Does it matter?

fashion police say under.

some/most warmers are made with a grippy strip at the top/inside meant to keep them pulled up against your skin.

IMHO whatever makes you comfy and works for you.

I frequently pull arm warmers up over my sleeves because it's easier for me when riding. however, i have a limited fashion sense and very low IQ. i do not use leg or knee warmers to moderate temperature; when using them, they're either on my legs or in my pocket/pack, so pulling them up & down frequently is not an issue as with arm warmers. thus, no call to ever pull them over the shorts.

Functionally it doesn't really matter.

Style-wise, they must go inside, so as not to cover the sponsor's logo on the shorts.

Over the shorts leg warmers slip and slide. Under the shorts they stay put.
