I am getting ready to move to Springfield, MO. I have been on an active USCF team for the past three seasons, and I am hoping to find a team in Missouri to ride on. Could someone please give me some leads of any.

I'm from St. Louis, but at a recent crit there was a "Mercy Health Systems" or "Mercy Hospital" team well represented in the Pro,1,2 race and I thought someone said they were from Spfd. That's all I know about them, but it's a lead...

I just moved to Springfield from Los Angeles this year. The local racing can be good, crits are great. You have to drive about 2 hours usually, but you can find a race every weekend. I am racing here and like it quite well. There is a team, Ozark Cycling Club, that races. I haven't joined them yet, remaining unattached, but I plan to join them for next year's schedule. When you get here, look me up, and we'll get together and ride. I own a SPINNING studio in town, Velo Fitness. Just look me up in the phone book or on the web, and we can train together on the roads if you'd like. Beware, the dogs and drivers are everywhere, and they don't like bicycles one bit. Other than that, local riding is enjoyable with farm roads leading everywhere. Anymore questions, just ask.

I belive the 'Mercy Cycling Team' that was racing at the Gateway Cup over Labor Day weekend is actuall based out of Arkansas. (Little Rock or Fayetville, can't remember which).
