Would you ride this if.....?elom

Would you ride this if it could be had for over 60% off of MSRP?

The fit is right
Like Alum. Compacts
Bike is NIB

The Zebra is the only question mark and I am thinking a repaint could fix nicely
Change the bar tape to black and all is wellspookyload

The zebra wont be so noticeable with solid black or solid white tape.

If I were in the market for top-level aluminum and could get your deal, I'd ride it if it was pink. Or lime green.

It's not about the ... paint job.

FWIW,

Absolutely. When the zebra striped cork tape has finally been chewed through in six or eight places by the pack mongrels you might ride with it might be an idea to switch it out to black.

I would scrap those tires immediamente tho.
What size, I'll buy it ;-)Giant_Tom

it's not nearly as bad in personhokie_biker

I just got one, and it's not really that bad. The tape is out there, but that's easy to replace. It's been a great bike so far (but I've only had a few rides) You might want to check, the triple is a gun-metal grey color, maybe you can get that bike and component switch, if you're that worried about the color.

But I agree, that zebra tape is annoying, go black.

When appearance outweighs function and price, we may be stepping perilously close to dilettantism. I'd not only ride it, I'd do it in MISMATCHED SHORTS.
only with match'n zebra outfit!marcoxxx

Which it is NOT!
Oh tell, me, what USA made components would you put on it?KG 361
Sep 9, 2003 10:08 AM
Really. I'd ride it if it fit and it was what I wanted.
So would I but again...Zman

I would want a bike that is made, as much as possible, in the United States. The FRAME must be made in the USA, no exceptions. After that I go Shimano and Europe. No Taiwan, China, Kathy Lee factories, ect...

Its a fault I have.

GO USA!
To each his own.....KG 361

Bet you drive a Chevy, don't you? =) I prefer to spend my $$ where I can get the most for it. And, yes, GO USA

Definately get the full Zebra kit. So what Mario doesn't wear it this yr. But I would only get it if you could beat all of your buddies in the county line sprints.

Seriously, If you like the way it rides, get the bike. You don't look at it while your riding, and a sweet ride makes you happy.
