Last question for awhile, I promise.Mr Nick

In another post I asked about how far backward I could go with no problem. Well I ended up moving my seat about 1cm reward and it has taken a lot of pressure off my hands. I am also going to a flat bar, but that is another post. Anyway, with the seat back 1cm from KOP my seatpost is anchored on the very front of my rails. I had been told that the seatpost should be anchored in the middle of the rails. If this is true than I will have to get a new setback seatpost. Is it important enough to buy a new post, or is it just a rule of thumb? Thanks.
if it works for you leave it. Don't buy a new post....Synchronicity

...just so it clamps in the middle of the rails.
