Anyone racing 2 Hours from anywhere ?CARBON110

I feel comfortable racing at this point although it will be just for fun since I have only been doing base miles and LOTS of weight work. My VO2 sucks thanks to getting nubbed by a car but I miss racing to much to pass the entire summer without it. I did race this spring but being out for 3 months for broken bones really sets you back. If I ever get hit again ( and I can still ride )I think I will use those muscle stimulator machines so I dont have to rebuild so much. Anyway it is a good race and just curious if anyone will be there
I've raced six hours from here, is that similar? ;-) nmSpunout

and say that your six hour away race was somewhere near/in Toronto. If so which race was it? I'm thinking about starting racing next spring...not sure which races are good/fun/well organized in the area.
How'd that all turn out with the girl who hit you?Kristin

Have you done the whole court thing yet? Also, thanks for the great info on Vermont & Asheville. I'll have to schedule a visit to NC sometime. If you think the property prices are bad in Vermont, just wait till you see San Francisco's. I did a little impromtu home shopping while I was visiting last summer. Holy cow.

I'm not sure if I'm racing yet or not. It depends if my teammates can stay at a friend's (hence, if I can crash on the floor). If so, I'll do the TT and crit. No more road races for me this year.
