Barring a crazy wacked out wife, does Lance Armstrong love his wife, more than his bike (career/fame)?
what a dumb question._rt_

Why do people care about Armstrong's private life?

It's not Armstrong's life it's what it illustrates or potentially illustrates.

I gave a talk on adultery and it's causes and ramifications the day (Thursday) before Kobe's adultery (his word) came to light (friday).

It exactly mimmicked the allure, the short term thinking, the fact that the girl was not all simple as she seemed, that it destroyed the trust of his wife and that there are consequences for his short term action.

Lance Armstrong can be a reminder that we all need to make our families (wife first and kids second) the number one priority in life.
You're right, thanks....rwbadley

Where does the dog fit in?

A fellow I used to work with would ask how I was doing, then ask how the wife and kid were doing. I'd say 'fine' or whatever... his response was always "That's good, you gotta take care of yourself so you can take care of them. They are what's important, your importance is relative to their well being" (I'm paraphrasing it a bit) Wise man...
