Bike for 04-lemond,klein or 2nd trek-disc road brakes in 05?andy02

I have a 2002 5200 now and I am thinking about getting a 04 - 5900, Klein carbon/Alu, or a lemond ti/steel. All would have around the groupo. I know the Klein has a reported weight of 16.2 pounds but I don't know about the others. I would assume them all to be fairly close in weight?? So it comes down to ride and fit. I like the fit and ride of my 5200 but I can feel a little bit of flex or maybe it is in my head (I weigh around 135lbs). really the flex is more likly in my handle bars (salsa pro). I need a smaller size in the Klein but I am not sure about the Lemond. HAS ANYONE ridden all three and can tell me how they compare? If I get a 5900 I may sell my 5200 anything else and I will keep both. As far as what I will do with this bike, 50/50 racing and stress relief.

Oh, has anyone else heard that 05 will have disc brakes?? Very small ones so they are really really lite!

Get the 5900 and sell your 5200 to help pay for it.Change your chain and your cassettes when needed. At 135lbs you dont need to worry about stressing your components until a few years from now. Then youll need a new bar/stem if you ride 5-6k a year. Shimano is comn out with a new Power meter and 10 speed so youll have to wait for Discs till 05. If its necessary get the Deda bar/stem its lighter then Easton combo and is the stiffest bar on the market. Full stop

I think I am going to get the 5900 in Jan and may keep my 5200 as well. If possible I may get a project one.

How often do you change your stem/bar?

did you hear that the new 5900 has all 110 where the 03 has 110 lugs but 120 tubes
