Fan Trainers vs Magnetic Trainers? which is more realistic.kingcobradv

I know that fluid trainers are the most realistic but the price is not (at least for me)! So I am deciding between a wind/fan trainer and a magnetic trainer. I heard that fan trainers are just like fluid trainers but are more noisy and magnetic trainers have no noise at all but the feeling is more like a stationary bike.

Also which ones give a better workout in order to improve, not just have a fun time indoors?

Which one do you guys/gals think is closest to riding on the road?

thank you

Wind is more realistic, but it is noisy. Fluid is quieter and as good. Personally I use and prefer magnetic. It has different feel and helps to improve spinning. I only use it during winter as supplement to riding which we can do pretty much all year around. Plus I can't ride trainer for more then an hour.
