|For $100 this thing seems to run pretty smoothly and only has a slight whine. The resistance is fairly decent, although it seems more set up for spinning then strength training. This is my first trainer.
I tried one-legged drills for the first time and confirmed my suspicions that I suck at spinning. I was wondering if there is anything special you can do to get better or do you just keep doing it and you'll gradually become smoother? It seems like right now I have a dead spot at top of my stroke and then kind of fall into the stroke right after the top causing a jerky spin. Any tips would be great. Thanks

|As you ride your ankle should flex a bit but for the most part as you pull up your foot should be flat to the ground. This helps utilize your hamstring more which will help smooth out your stroke.
