Mpls Riders - Doing TT work - good routes?aliensporebomb

I'm looking for a three mile, flat, uninterrupted route so I
can work on TT work.

I've thought of several places and I've had some suggestions
but most are either plagued with traffic or other riders or
have hills.

Ideas?

* River Road
* Black Dog TT course
* Highway #13

A lot can depend on WHEN you train/ride.

Good Luck!!

I find the stretch of road between Harriet Island and the Lilydale Yacht Club (near the start of the Great River Trail) to be excellent for TT training. There is minimal traffic, it is flat and smooth and can be linked to from the Mendota Heights side or from downtown St. Paul. Beautiful ride too, right along the Mississippi, sheltered by a canopy of trees...
