|I heard Specialized makes a trick uber light non CPSC (sp?) helmet similar to the S-1. Failing that a Stradivarius would do. I know there are some crazy light helmets that the Euros don't want us getting our hands on.

|I used to have similar feelings when going on trips to the U.K. but you'll have a hard time even finding a decent bike shop, let alone one that has something cool in stock. Your impression would be that the Euros have all this awesome stuff that they're holding back on us, but I'm always disappointed in the availability of quality gear in Europe, and especailly in the U.K.|

|on a short stint to Belgium/Holland I was dissappointed as well.
I think it's got something to do with the American attitude that the latest, greatest, coolest, etc. is what you gotta have mentality.
OTOH, Europeans seem to go for the cheaper economical stuff, thus that's what bike shops carry.
