Does anyone have any experience with the Cateye CS 1000 trainer? I did not see any reviews about it on this site. It looks great, but some feedback would help. Thanks.

the snot out of me on one when I live in VA. There were a bunch of us that got together winters and rode trainers together.

There's a lot of nifty workouts you can do on the "Psycho-stimulator." The combo of wind and magnet/brake will kick your arse!

The downside: it is not quiet. The fan blades make some serious noise. Condo/apartment owners beware. Its also spendy unless you can find one used.

The upsides: sturdy, has a computer that measures wattage, speed, etc. so you don't have to run a rear mount for your computer, feels like the road, etc.

I'm looking for a used one for myself just to have one. Mount a bike on it, and keep it there through the winter, ride as necessary.

I'd recommend one, assuming you can deal with the noise.
