Does anyone know of a good LBS in or near Lakewood, NJ? (One of my sons just moved there with his family - and, of course, his bike.)

Thank you.

I didn't reply earlier since I'm not familiar with the immediate area. Since you haven't gotten any other responses I'll just throw this out there.

Brielle Cyclery is a reputable shop in Brielle, NJ. Not exactly next door but not too far either. They sponsor a bike team and have a nice little shop. I had relatives in Brielle and used to struggle to keep my tongue in my mouth when I went in there as a kid. They cater to the Jersey shore money area nearby so don't expect any deals but it's a good shop.

Yes, Brielle Cyclery on Union Ave. (Rt.71) in Brielle is a top-notch shop, best in the area in my opinion. Talk to Kathy or Clarence (head wrench). In Toms River, I think it's Beacon Bicycles (or Beacon Fitness) on Bay Ave., up by route 37.
My condolences to your son and his family....bicyclerepairman

Beacon cycling has store in howell nj, just north of lakewood on rt. 9. Gave lifetime free maintenance with bike purchase. I've been pretty satisfied. Brielle probably better reputation but may be further away depending on where he lives in Lakewood.
