I think that this is an '84-85 model year bike.

Columbus steel frame
Sachs Huret derailuers
Modelo Corsa brakes

I'm thinking of putting it up on E-bay as my wife is complaining about all of my bikes (now up to four).

the first racing bike i ever lusted for. it was about 1985 and it was tan. i can still remember it. i think it was almost $700.00 a fourtune back then keep it

was the tan Torpado. Bought it in 1985 or '86 for about that price. That was a lot of money to me then too. Lots of miles and smiles on that bike. It's still going, but going nowhere, on the trainer.

How could you repaint that vintage Colnago and replace the name with a Swiss manufacturer? SHAME.....
