|How do I get gum off my tire?||willy2351|

|When I finished my ride today, I found chewing gum all over my tire, as well as the spokes. I got the spokes cleaned up without much difficulty, but am having more trouble with the tire. Any suggestions? The tires are Michelin Pros, if it matters. Thanks!|

|If the gum is fairly thin I'd suggest a dish scrubber sponge with dishwashing liquid and water. If it's fairly thick I'd suggest getting it very cold with ice in a ziplock bag held against it for a while, then using a fingernail to pick it off.|

|... a bit of WD-40 might break the bond... use it sparingly and keep it away from your rim's braking surface.
Another remedy might be ice... If you can cool the gum enuff... it'll become brittle and easier to simply chip off (works in kid's hair too).
Be the bike.
