and see what we can do. This is, in fact, a two time champeen Tour de Nez winner. Clunker category.

Stiff, yet responsive. Pump the tires up to 55 lbs, and she rides like a (bad) dream.

So, let's go...

After a grunt up 12-15% Pinecone circle, we arrive at the top. Today was Joel's birthday, and the weather god's were smiling on us. It had rained the few days before, and the air was fresh and sweet. You can see the humidity haze in the air.
Verdi has become pricey...rwbadley

Just after taking this shot, we bumped into fellow RBR member Cory on his cool Atlantis bike. I, in hindsight wished I'd taken a close-up pic of the Atlantis. Very nice bike. Most versatile, and a real beauty. I did manage to snap a shot of them as they blazed down the highway later, but it was all a blur at those speeds. Cory-, Joel and I had to joke about it on the ride back; it was funny to see you out BUYING the morning paper. What?... RGJ doesn't deliver? Maybe you need to renegotiate your contract... heh heh

Well, actually...no. We ended up doing a thirty mile loop with hills, and I took the D.S. instead. The clunker is a pretty good town bike, but is a little sluggish for the long haul. I do ride it fairly often tho.
how about the socks? did you ride up hills with those socks? nmJS Haiku Shop

I ride with high socks......rwbadley

Not usually quite that high. I usually leave the wingtips at home too. I was poking fun in return to LiveSteam poking fun at a previous pic of me with my high socks... I know that must be clear as mud. I guess I sometimes have a silly sense of humor. You know the fixer-upper photo above may not be 1.2 mil either, but in Verdi it might not be that far off...

My Grandmother, while alive, used to 'talk with her hands', making voluminous gestures as she spoke. I loved to listen and watch her talk. I think I picked up a bit of that, but it doesn't come across the 'net. So I may find other ways to, uh, get a situation across in the way I would like it to appear...

I love a good story, if it takes a bit of excess to do it, well... I'm not a news journalist, so my hands get to move a little!
