Redux: "The final word on team clothing, kits, and the like" (3 posts)
| Redux: "The final word on team clothing, kits, and the like" | aliensporebomb Aug 24, 2003 7:55 AM | | Here's the real rules:
-Men, no wearing women's team kits.
-If you have to have your name on the top tube for anti-theft purposes have it STAMPED into the metal.
-If you have to use a visor, make it be transparent plastic
so you can see thru it (sort of defeats the purpose since
then the sun will get you easily).
-If you have to use a Camelbak, make sure it came from an
actual Camel rather than one of those synthetic fabrics.
-No high-heels with clipless pedals, ladies.
-Owners of LOOK brand equipment need to place the word
"Don't" before the brand name using a Dymo label maker.
-Official bike of the US Postal team for next year will be
100% correct replicas of the bike Pee Wee Herman rode in
the "Big Adventure" film. It's uncool to wear full team
kit while riding one if you're not on the team. |
